This is the story of how I did not show up on the biggest day of my life (at the time).
Being Real
I was not the brightest in class during my secondary school days in Nigeria. I had friends that were so good academically, I felt there was no point trying or competing.
After secondary school, I traveled to the UK and realized for the very first time that I can start afresh. This is a new environment and a chance to re-write my life story (at least academically starting with A Levels).
I made a conscious choice to be the best I can be. I was fully focused and it started to pay off. My results were positive and at the end of the first year, I was one of the best students. Then came the payoff. I was selected for an interview with a local newspaper about my performance, career choices, and University options. On the day of the interview, I did not show up in school. I missed the day for me to receive the reward I have worked so hard for.
Do you do the same too?

Everyone around you is concerned for you, and sometimes you even make up the stories about why things are not working out for you, but deep down you know the truth.
You are afraid of winning, afraid of being successful, afraid of arriving, afraid of life after, because after this, you don’t know what next. So you choose the journey with no destination.
You lie that you are trying when in reality you are working against yourself.
I want the best for you in 2019. So I shot this video to give you a different perspective and show you 3 things you can do to ‘CRUSH’ it 2019.
Let me know what you like about it. Leave a comment and share with someone you’d like to encourage too.
