3 things that replace fear during coronavirus [COVID-19] Pandemic

power love sound mind

Do not fear during this coronavirus crisis. This is important, though it certainly looks difficult from the reality and actions.

Please keep safe and I pray for God’s protection over you and yours in these trying times.

Irrespective of the opinion of many people (especially on Social Media), your personal relationship with God is ‘super’ important. Pray, read your Bible and let the Holy Spirit guide, teach and comfort you.

It is obvious that no one has the answers, but we have this hope, as an anchor for our souls, that through every storm, we will hold on to God.

As I was writing this, our 5 year old daughter was reading her bible storybook and she ran into the room, daddy, daddy see. I was a bit startled, is everything ok? I asked. She said ‘these people said ‘We will follow the statue, not God’. Ah!’

I said to her, keep reading, so she turned page and continued reading:

‘Moses was angry at these people. “Follow God, not this statue.” he said. Some people listened to Moses. They followed God. That made them happy.’

I couldn’t even believe the coincidence, so I started typing from her story book. She then asked me. Daddy why are you writing the same thing?  🙂

3 things that replace fear even during coronavirus crisis.

A lot of people are afraid. Maybe you are too. Fear is a strong emotion, but God gave a 3 part combo to combat and replace fear.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

Remember that instead of fear, you have:

Power to create, resist, shift and change things

Love to show compassion to others, bring God (who is love) into the situation and pray for all

Sound mind to have clarity, peace of mind, and to make good decisions. Sound mind means no depression and no anxiety. It calls for and brings self control.

I love you and I am praying for you.

Amen!
