I gave the closing Keynote for the Girls in AI 2021 event in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe. The event was for 12 – 18 year old girls to celebrate International Women’s Day.

It was a huge privilege to inspire young girls across the African continent. TeensinAI, an AI initiative launched at the AI for Good Global Summit at the UN in May 2018 organised the event across over 20 countries globally.

Main Message

When we rely heavily on external validation, external motivation and external influences to determine our place in the world, we give them undue influence over our lives.
